Ansitz Hohenegg is located in a secluded location in the middle of nature and also is the approach.
Therefore, the correct address can not be found in any navigation system, so with the booking confirmation, you will receive detailed directions.
Outdoor parking is available at Ansitz Hohenegg for each Stube and the Schindelhaus.

DIRECTIONS IN SUMMER
In summer Hohenegg is generally easy to reach by car, but the road is unsuitable for low-lying sports cars.
Please drive carefully on the dirt road, possibly hikers or cyclists can accommodate you.
DIRECTIONS IN WINTER
The journey in winter depends on the weather and snow conditions. We recommend to travel with snow chains and four wheele. In extreme snow conditions, a permanent access with your own car can not be guaranteed.
In this case, a parking space is available in the valley. Your holiday then begins with a winter hike to the Ansitz (about 2.5km), while the Hohenegg team with the caterpillar transports your luggage to the Ansitz.
LAUNDRY INCLUDED
The Schindelhaus and the Stuben are equipped with:
· bed linen and towels
· Sauna bag with bathrobes for adults
· Cloth napkins and kitchen towels
BABYS AND SMALL CHILDREN
If required we can provide you with a child carrier or high chair. For babies we offer baby beds, changing table and diaper pail. We ask for a notification of the need for booking.
KIDS AND TEENS
For children, Hohenegg offers many opportunities, from the Kettcar race with the in-house vehicles, a small football field, table tennis, various outdoor games and board games.
Our caretaker exclusively offers guided alpaca and lama walks - a very special experience!
Adventure enthusiasts will love the nearby high - wire climbing park with summer toboggan run, the adventure mountain playground, the adventure pool with slides or one of the amusement parks in the area - there 's something for every age.

CULINARY
As Auguste Escoffier once said, "good food is the foundation of all happiness". That is why we attach great importance to culinary enjoyment. The kitchens are all well equipped.
We have herbs in our garden and the wayside offers a wide range of wild herbs, mushrooms and berries for taste experiences of a special kind. In Motzgatsried, an idyllic farming village within walking distance on the next hill there's honey from local bees directly from the beekeeper or on the "Alp Bergwies" - a nice family hike - you can buy excellent vespers and homemade cheese. And then there are the good old village shops as they are known from grandmother's times ... in the Ebrtashofer village shop, which can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes, there you not only can by food and things for daily life, there is a little coffe shop, too, with homemade pastry. And in Maierhöfen, also a nice hike , there's a baker and a butcher, or you can lunch or dinner in the restaurant Landhaus Krone with regional, fresh cuisine.
